Does anybody know of any good movies at the theater right now? I was planning on taking the wife on a date this week. Just dinner and a movie, but we don't do that too much any more. I have seen some trailers for Breach and a few others that look decent, but it is sometimes hard to tell.
 
If you want to see a tear jerker go see Teribithia....took my nephew over the weekend, totally unexpecting ending. Seems like it's for kids, but damn, wierd ending for kids.
 
I only get out to the theater now and then. I mostly watch movies on DVD. Shoot, I just finished watching Capote. Now I'm about ready to watch the bonus section. :)
 
Crazy thing is we get into Carmike theaters free (we still have to pay for concessions) and its been months and months since we've even been to a movie. Even tho there's one about 2 miles away that does 1st run movies.
 
Went and seen the new Hannibal(sp) movie last week, and thought it was alright.

There is a lot of movies comming out in the next few months that i want to see.
 
I haven't been to the movie theater in many, many years, but "23" sounds great and it debutes on the 23rd. "Ghost Rider" sounds interesting as well.
 
"23" does look pretty good and so does Zodiak. But my wife doesn't like seeing anything like that at a theater. Renting it is ok, as we can turn down the volume or fast forward through really bad parts. I may rent both of those when they hit DVD. I have always been pretty interested in serial killers and what makes them tick. Shows like Notorious on the Biography channel tell the stories of some of the more successful ones. Not that I have any interest in being one myself, but their stories are usually fascinating. Just seeing how somebody's mind can get so screwed up is interesting to me.

them are the only ones i can think of that i want to see that are out or comming out.

I also seen Norbit a few weeks ago.
 
Astronaut Farmer and Wild Hogs sound like winners to me! I'll rent 'em.
 
Kat, have you watched Broken Bridges? It's a good movie. I don't like country music, but I liked the movie. Toby Keith and Kelly Preston is in it. It's out on DVD.

I've seen it on CMT (I think). We don't have a DVD player, just a VCR.
Whar's NOT to like about Country Music? Some of the best butts in the business!:moon:
