anyone else have (inhouse)wireless internet?

I just got a wireless router and networked my laptop to my cable modem...I can take it anywhere in my house and even out on my porch....this is a cool little piece of technology!!!......now if I could just afford mobile service I could take it in my car!!.... :lol: .....anyone else use this and how do you like it?
 
i have wireless at college..i can takt it anywhere on campus and it will work ...but it won't work when i take it home

is it thru the college? for all the students?..or do you subscribe in some other way?
 
I think we might be doing the same thing shortly! So that we can use our labtops with the net. If i heard right thats what the computer guy and my step dad where talking about.
 
well I love it...only drawback so far is the kids wanna sneak it upstairs... :lol:






and angel....thats cool that the campus has that...i'm quite a few yra past college, I imagine alot of schools do that now...
