I've spent the last two mornings starting on the packing up. Looks like I'll be moving to Palestine around the first of the year.

I started on the smallest room upstairs. Took 2 hours to get all my DE posters, flags, etc. off the walls. Took this morning to get the sewing stuff boxed and ready.

And that's just the smallest room! Help!
 
Believe me TRL, I understand!!!

There is a product called "BIOFREEZE" that is wonderful, but I don't know if it's available at drugstores. I got mine from my Chiropractor.
AND it doesn't stink like medicine like otc stuff.

I wish I could send Faith, my massage therapist, to help you now!!

Tell the old man to massage you with one of your nice lotions:)

Have fun packing!!! Pack all your racing stuff up first so that it is out of sight the longest. SO that the day comes when you unpack all of that it is like chirstmas again. Thats what I did and it was fun!!
Have a safe move and hope nothing gets broken.:D
 
It wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't had to climb up the ladder, remove a poster, down the ladder to deposit said poster and pins, then move the ladder, ad infinitum! My 12x12 room was literally wall-papered with stuff. LOL

I'll check at Walgreens and Eckerds, kat. And ask the pharmacist. Thanks.

PettyBenson, there are some DE things that will stay on the wall until the very last instant, go in the car with me when I leave, and be the first thing hung in the new place. LOL
 
Why in the world are you moving to Palestine, too much violence over there. Stay safe in Texas.

TRL, (hehehe), I thought that in the first raid we all got most of your stuff, but I made sure you didn't loose anything while you were in Atlanta.

If you can find BIOFREEZE it is WONDERFUL!!!!!
 
Good luck with your move. I'd help ya pack, but I'm kinda busy with my own packing.

Plus, I don't think you want me packing the Earnhardt stuff...

Got the rest of the DE/sewing room ready today. Got some large mailing tubes from my local frame shop to put all my posters in, so they won't get damaged.

Then, I started going through clothes. Oh, my gosh, I didn't realize I had clothes stashed everywhere in this house. I tried on clothes I didn't even remember I had --- some fit, some didn't. LOL

Those that don't will go to some charity. Oh, boy, is there going to be lots of them!

TRL,you CAN get a tax deduction for your donations as long as they give you a receipt.

I donated MANY booke to a Library when I moved to GA and got a nice refund :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Packing? I didn't think people still did that. The last couple times I have helped people move, they packed as they went. :rolleyes: Took us all day.
 
I insist on packing...

Last time I helped my brother-in-law move, they did
the pack/clean as you go method...took effing forever !!!
