Looking for info on what is banded from the us and if i might need to get any shots or anything.

Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala

Lappy, I don't believe that any of those countries require any vacinations but if one is required, you will be notified. As for any banned substances, that too will be told to you. However, you will have to go through customes when you re-enter the US and if you have something that needs to be declared, you'll have to do so. Again, you will be told what has to be declared such as too many bottles of booze etc. You are allowed a certain amount of goods from those countries duty free so unless you go overboard, you won't have to declare anything. Some people try to sneak past customes things that should have been declared but if they are caught, it could be costly. I wouldn't worry about too much of that but if you have any questions, just carefully read the customes declaration.

Also, be aware of what you take into those countries. It's much harder to hide things since 9/11 and when you are in a foreign country, you don't want to mess with their inspectors. Be prepared to have all your luggage inspected, inside and out.

Better check on passport requirements. Lots of PSA's on TV regarding re-entry in this country.

Lappy NO CUBAN cigars.

Lappy, don't be messing around with those young honeys down there.

Otherwise, you might have to get the shots when you get back home. :D

Mostly all i will take in to the countries is my passport, money, and a camera. thats about it.

I'm going with a christian school, so might not be able to mess with the young ladys or the locial bars and drinks.

I knew I could not sneek a cuban smoke back in the usa. I was just looking fo a site that had things listed that ya could not being back.

I don't know about those countries, but there is often restrictions regarding bringing in fresh fruit, vegetables, plants, etc., since they might carry some kind of pests they are trying to keep from spreading.

When I was in high school in the dino days, I thought they meant ALL FOOD. We left candy bars and other kinds of wrapped stuff on the plane which we didn't have to do. Oh well.... live and learn. :)

I'm pretty sure if you're going with a church group, they'll provide the information for all those who are traveling. At least that's been my experience with church trips.

Hmm, I seem to remember a few people (mag) saying they were moving to Canada.
