Does anyone have the test speeds at Homestead?Just curious how things went there during testing.
 
PB, I'm surprized at you. I thought you could be more subtle than that. Please try harder next time.;) ;)

Martin Tops Homestead Test: #6-Mark Martin posted the fastest lap as a two-day test session wound up Wednesday at Homestead-Miami Speedway with a lap of 149.089mph. Second among the seven Winston Cup cars testing was #40-Jamie McMurray at 147.945. Scott Wimmer was the faster of the two BGN drivers testing at 146.381.(Winston Cup Scene Daily Newsletter) and

I still hope it comes down to the last lap to get a champion this year.
 
That's really some great competition he was up against out there at practice...wow!

What is the speed record at that track Paul,I thought the same thing,But still figured it was good to get a heads up there if you are Martin running for a cup.;)
 
Without set-up info the speeds are hard to interpret.

But for info:

last years pole was 155.2 MPH and the last car in on speed was 151.5 MPH.

Happy Hour speeds last were 148.67 at the top and 145.15 at the bottom of the pylon.

So were the drivers testing in race trim or qualifying trim?
 
I can't imagine Mark would lead that group. Probably the stiffest compettion he has faced all year:p

I don't know about that,But Mark was heard saying hapenis would be winning the cup this year if he gets it. :p
 
A what would be winning the cup if Mark won? Can't imagine him calling himself one :D ;)
