Anyone want to rate it?

Well, it was a race........one after a week off to boot. I would say it was a pretty typical New Hampshire race. Narrow, pretty much single groove track with fairly flat corners (reminiscent of Homestead before the reconfiguration last year). A very hard track to pass on and if you aren't up front to start, you better have some darned good pit strategy and quite a bit of luck to come up to the front. Two drivers did exactly that today...............Kurt Busch and Jeff Gordon!! They ran Loudon the way you have to run Loudon to win!! :D For that, I'm bumping my rating up a couple points........and for Jr/Jr not doing what needed to be done, I'm taking one of those bumps back. :) But Jimmie not having a stellar day either (if one can call an 11th place day not a stellar day  ), that sort of takes away a little of the pain!! :)

I'm going with a middle of the road 6. :D

Well DE_W I'm going with a 5 and that's only cause it was a race after a weekend of no race so I'll be a little extra generous.
Heck, the F-1 race was far more exciting. :D

Now the Modified race fron there last night gets an 8 That was a pretty good race. :bounce:

Busch series gets the same ranking as the Cup race from me.

Listened to it on the radio becuase I had work to do and I don't get TNT.

Sounded like I didn't miss much...only 2 real lead changes the entire race...ho-hum...

The only interesting bit came with 10 laps to go. So I'm going to save my 'ratings points' for another race...

I give it a 3.

I can't give it no more than a 2. Very BORING!! But that's my opinion.

ill give it a 10, i mean come on folks, what race were you watchin? both lead changes were so exciting! and there was so much passing going on considering the front 2 ran the same for the first 150 some laps and then the same 3 ran 1-2-3 for the last 100 or so laps. i'm so glad there are 2 races there!!!

*note the sarcasm...

on a serious note, its prolly a 4 since we did get 5 less minutes of commercial, thank goodness for tnt(sorry had to revisit the sarcasm there) but typical nhis race. follow the leader until each pitstop then its follow the leader till the next one. the people who own kentucky or nashville really needs to buy new hampshire and relocate one of its dates to those tracks

The only way I could have given it over a 4 was if Busch hadn't won. Since he did only a 3.

I'll give it a 3.5; 3 of that was for Jeff closing the gap on Junior.

About as boring as a race can be without restrictor plates :(

Guess I'm in the minority here, but I'll rate it a 7.Ryan Newman and Kurt Busch were the class of the field,so very few lead changes, but those teams kept up with the track and conditions.Good to see Jimmy Spencer lead 3 laps, even if it for just a pit-cycle exchange.
I do believe that 1 of the NHIS dates would be better served by going to another road course event,JMHO. ;)

Maybe even both of them. I compromise and send one to the Glen and one to the Rock.

Gotta give it a 3. Liked seeing Jeff get 2nd, but the rest was simply put, "Ho-hummmmmmm".

Why I hung on every word for the 1st 58 laps...
What an exciting way to cover a race. Show 1 car the entire time from every different angle. They even showed us the driver change twice and the stands erupting into a standing ovation before they thought to show us Craven's mishap. That alone should have boosted the numbers. Now, when JC himself, I mean Lil'E, got out of the car the sound of TV channels being turned was deafening.

Overall there was some drama. Could Kahne catch Tony? What would Rusty do if he caught Tony? Who would be the 1st out of the race, and no fair selecting Shepherd? Tho you would have lost. Who would blow their engine 1st, Schrader or Hamilton Jr.? How many laps would Petty be down when he finally retired to the garage?
There are plenty of things to look for. You just need to use your imagine...

I'm going to be generous and give it a 8 --- because it allowed me to get caught up on the housework and the laundry.

ROTFL

As for the "racing" --- that gets a 3. *yawn*

BP, your 'understanding' and appreciation of racing is obviously much more thorough than my own.

:D

Guess this race will make Pocono seem like the real barn burner!! :D

Who would blow their engine 1st, Schrader or Hamilton Jr.?

Not funny <_< , but unfortunately true.

I'll give it a 3, but only cause Schrader qualified in the top 20 and was actually talked about during thru the field. Other than that it sucked cause he blew up, and Brian wrecked.
