ARCA 200/Bud Shootout Forecast

I saw 60%, and only at night. The precipitation forecast is light. Thank God the track is ony 2.5 miles long.

:blush:it early n these extended forcast are sooo on the money ....................:p

Maybe I should go pick 'Mother Nature' for one of my Bud Shootout picks? Rain in Florida in February, who would have thought?

Basicly December is our dry season, other than that 20-30% is a normal day we ALWAYS have a shower passing thru somewhere.

Where are yall seeing those numbers?

From NOAA:http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Daytona Beach&state=FL&site=MLB&textField1=29.1922&textField2=-81.0527&e=1

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 76. East wind around 10 mph.

Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. East southeast wind around 10 mph becoming southwest.

You are using a government server to tell you what is what. That's the problem I thinks. Several other survey's have the evening rain at better than 60%.

But like I said before, The precipitation forecast is very important. And that one shows less than one inch of rain. If that changes, then I might have something to bitch about. Besides. It's only a 50 lap race. We can fit that in after a short little shower.

r u serious

Hell yeah Im serious. You think for 24 hours, the chance of rain doesn't change from 30 percent? I cut grass every day for 8 months. The forecast I see is hourly.

We wait the last 3 months for a race, and this is what you talk about?

Now I'm depressed.

U better turn that around, or I might just whip out the FEB 26th forecast and make you shoot yourself in the head.

Your saying NOAA is not a reliable weather source?

I think this was one of the most intelligent conversation about the weather I've ever seen.

Sorry I guess I just did'nt get it. I'm used to intelligent conversations we used to have on these threads.

I am trying to be intelligent.NOAH is being lazy. 40 chance during the day and night? Cmon.

Im just friggin bored. There's no racing to talk of. Maybe I need to sedate until Friday.

If weather stations were honest...

It hasn't been THAT nice! Plus have you noticed the last couple of weekends its been snowing? ;) I'm loving that it's not lasting this year, but then again, I'm not into winter sports, except motor racing. :)

I am near Rochester and it was bad over the weekend, I think it's supposed to get cold again. It has been pretty nice the past two days.
