ARCA at Dega

Reckon it is only natural that most folks attention will be on the Winston Cup rodeo this weekend, but there is another race from outside NASCAR at the track.

You will of course have Kimmel, Jason Jarrett, and Shelby Howard along with the ARCA regulars. Regulars which include my current vote for up and coming female driver to watch Christi Passmore.

There are couple of names in the field who are not regulars who bear watching.

Kyle Busch will hit the super superspeedway for the first time in the Ditech Monte. Allowing that the car should be as good or better than any out there it should be fun to watch the youngster adapt to draft dependent racing........and it may well be a test similar to that of Boris's to qualify him for the big tracks.

Boris Said will pilot one of Ken Schraders cars in cooperation with the MB2 team he hopes will get him into the Shootout next year. Boris has to mind his P's and Q's as this race will determine whether NASCAR will deem him ready for the Daytona highbanks come February.

And the Lousiana school teacher will be back as Kim Crosby takes the car Dave Marcis pretty much prepped for her to the big track.

Don't plan on watching it live............Speed feels compelled to broadcast F1 qualifying Saturday afternoon. Good for F1 fans,,,,,,,,,,

First airing is at 1 am ET Saturday night (Sunday morning) is yer up to being up and about around then. If not, it airs again Sunday afternoon at 4 pm. Whcih migh conflict with the finish of Dega. Course it will give ya something to watch while you're taping Dega if you actually intend to do that. You can catch the F1 race just prior to the ARCA race on Speed as well.

Looking for nothing less than a win out of young Kyle.....hopefully he learned his lesson about messing with backmarkers his last time out with these folks....and really hoping Kim can pull off a top 20 lead lap finish....well, top 20 anyways :D

The fact it's not live or same day is the reason it's not on the TV times.
