ARCA Gets Another Track

I just found out that ARCA has agreed to run a race here in Mobile next season. Mobile International Speedway is a good little ½-mile short track. Could be a good one.
Rick Crawford, formerly of the CTS, is doing a great job running and promoting the racing here.

Yeah, March 10th. ARCA seems to be really happy with the deal so far. We're turning it into an entire weekend happening. There will be a party on March 8th, the haulers are supposed to parade from downtown Mobile to the track in Arlington on Friday around 1300 and the race will be the following day. Rick already has commitments from 6-7 teams to test at the track after they leave Daytona.
Yeah, I agree. ARCA needed at date shortly after Daytona and it looks as though this one will fill the bill. Grant Enfinger is excited about playing in front of a "Hometown crowd" in his ARCA team.
