ARCA hasn't issued any penalty for Sheltra so far.

The day after the Toledo race last fall, they announced penalties for Scott Speed for his intentional retaliation toward Stenhouse.

The day after the 2006 Glass City 200 at Toledo, they suspended Michael Simko and Don St. Denis indefinently from ARCA competition for a fistfight in a chump event.

So far, they've announced no penalties for Patrick Sheltra -- not a fine, nothing -- over an incident that was MUCH WORSE than both of the above incidents.

You seem surprised. Actually, I was close too making a similar post last night. Remember at all times that this is ARCA and there is no logic here. I have been attending ARCA races (on both sides of the fence) for close to 30 years and this is as bad as I have ever seen. I have seen it all but nothing close to being as ridiculous as this. ARCA at least owes it the sponsors of the race to make a statement. What I saw is what I would expect at a 1/4 midget race for 4 year olds.

Just add this to the list of fires ARCA needs to put out. Judging by the number of front running car owners who made their way to the ARCA trailer to voice their anger over what they saw this is not over yet. I saw Ron Drager minutes after this happened and I thought the mans head was going to explode. I have never seen him that angry.

I'm not surprised, actually. Like you said, it's ARCA.
