ARCA Kentucky 150

LAP 14: Alli's 25th (thanks Angela Cope for stopping right in front of her on the restart).

2 cautions, 15 laps in. What a joke.

Amber Cope wrecks, caution is out on lap 17 putting Angela Cope on the restart.

How the eff did Amber and Angela Cope get rides?

:quickgooglesearch:

:growl:

Well, that answers my own question.

Another caution. Amber Cope for the 3rd time; second time in a lap.

What a ****ing joke.

Green flag lap 32, caution flag lap 32: Angela Cope.

GET THEM OUT OF RACING

They just made it 5 laps without someone wrecking.

Could it be because both of the Cope twins wrecked out?

Oh wait, Angela Cope's still in. Spin, crash; Angela Cope again.

I hope those tires make those cars grip better.

I also hope ARCA pulled Angela Cope out of the race.

What's this? SPEED, showing Alli Owens?

I'm SHOCKED!

Scott Speed leading at Kentucky. Crash, Dexter Bean. No caution yet... Caution.

THIS is a good race. :D

Two car race, Sean Caisse took a cheap shot at Scott Speed and I would bet money he's gonna get that back if Scott gets the opportunity.

Another crash. It actually was not one of the Cope twins.

Congratulations Angela Cope, you've gone 15 laps without spinning out or crashing! :beerbang:

Come on Scott Speed! C'mon man!

THIS IS AN AWESOME RACE! INCREDIBLE RACING!

Caution is out, last lap.

1 lap GREEN/WHITE/CHECKERD OVERDRIVE!

Damn it Betsy, you ruined it all. I was waiting to see if Andy would do a whole thread by himself. But since you broke it, I'll throw my two cents into this thread.

As I'm sure almost everyone who watched this race will agree, the Cope twins need a lot more experience, and maybe, no matter how good the qualify, it would probably be a good idea for them to fall to the back so they can spin and not be in anyone's way.

As usual, the race had its fair share of cautions and it was hard to get the thing started. I don't know if they had a 20 lap run without a caution. But the end had four or five good cars up front and at least that was exciting, not knowing who would take the checker first. Good run and strategy for Scott Speed. I was rooting for the old vet Kimmel but was glad to see he had a top five finish (4th). Points leader had problems and finished 13th. Still, that wasn't bad since his car was pretty torn up.

And the three-strike rule. :D

They were half the cautions between them. They can drive fast, but they can't drive in a pack of cars worth of crap. Once Angela went to the back and stopped crashing, they actually got some green flag laps in.

That was utterly inane.

Also, I'd like to point out that despite being knocked down to 25th on the start when Angela Cope stopped in the middle of the field, Alli Owens came back for a 15th place finish. She managed to avoid the Cope twins' crashes a couple times and has a decent finish to show for it.

That spin Amber made when Angela was in lucky dog position is still awfully suspicious. I loved how Phil and Mikey pointed that out. But, with all their other wrecks, who would've known? ;)

Good run for Justin Allgaier! I love watching him and patrick sheltra who are both big DLM racers. They are the only two asphalt names you can bring up on a dirt board and not get blasted for talking about asphalt lol.

Sean Casse suprised me ive seen him wreck more than one car to get a win. I remember last year after running behind logano for most of the year he drove right through him at dover to take the busch east win.
