Andy, do I hear an echo? LOL Watching it now.

I think that Ali Owen might be the best deal working up through the ranks right now. Her run was very impressive, clean and professional. Had a 6th place finish after late pit for fuel. :beerbang:

Agreed she had a great run today.

watching it now. I've got it on DVR so I can fast forward through all the craptastic stuff.

Cautions are way too long in ARCA. :(

She's getting better and better every week. :)

The mp3 file is corrupted for some reason, I've only got the postrace interview with Alli from The Rock, but Eddie's probably going to put her in some Nationwide races later this season. They just cut back their schedule because the sponsors don't want to run the non-televised races.

I saw James Harvey Hylton had a top 15 as well. Way to go, James. :)

Darrell Basham 20th.

If you want to hear some stories, talk to Darrell Basham. Made the night at a crappy hotel in Wadesboro go by a lot quicker.

Hey andy..I thought these guys were great racers.....they crash under caution!!!!!!

Now that was a funny comment. Still, I don't think the race went to "chit" too badly at the end. Then again, I wouldn't exactly give the glowing endorsement ARCA did on their website:

"Outside of one late-race multi-car crash (five cars) in turn four resulting from a blown engine, the race featured two- and three-wide racing among a pack of 20-plus machines all the way. In short, it was a thrilling race featuring long green-flag runs combined with few caution laps."

You've gotta remember, they have a series they have to promote. They don't have a title sponsor for next season yet (though the recent deals with Menards are promising). They're trying to get a boost in ratings because most of their televised races are run on Thursdays and Fridays. And they're trying their hardest to get Mansfield, Iowa, New Jersey and Toledo televised.

Yeah, they certainly don't get any mainstream media coverage, so they have to self-promote on their website, which I think is a pretty good one. I was shocked on the day of the race to see "Lofton wins at Talledaga" on the ESPN scroll though!

I assume there's no more ARCA on MavTV? Not that I could or can get that.

ARCA did not like the MavTV deal, because they had to pay the network and pay the production company -- and they got a lot of complaints about it. Hell, none of the ARCA officials could get MavTV.

All the races that aren't on SPEED are carried online at http://www.ustream.tv/arcaracing

I have Dish Network, and MavTV is just not carried, no matter what I want to pay.

Amazing about ustream. I was going to say I was shocked I didn't know about it, but I see from the statistics that almost no one knows about it. Looks like Kentucky might be the first race they're trying to stream on ustream?

P.S. I had to cut your link out of the quoted post, because this silly message board still won't let me post links until I have 15 posts. I'm surprised they allowed me to start a thread.

They streamed the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200 and Rockingham Thunderfest on ustream.

I don't like the ustream platform at all. I like the LiveVideo.com website. But, I guess you're going to be bombarded with ads either way you go.

It wasn't very good at all. They stuck a camera in the control tower and followed the leaders around. No replays of wrecks or anything. But, I didn't complain - it's better than what we had last year with MavTV:mad:, which was essentially, nothing.

Personally, I liked the 10 minute race recaps they had on ARCA Nation last year of Springfield, Cayuga and Pocono.
