First caution for debris at lap 30.

Clean racing from Scott Speed and Dario Franchitti --- they are doing well. Not setting the world on fire, but not screwing up, either.

What a finish. Thanks Frank Kimmel for ruining that race. :rolleyes:
 
Sorry I can't think of the name of the guy who won, but he was young and they said it was his first race - Aanaan.. or something like that. Scott Speed ended up in the top ten, 7th, I think. Dario ended up somewhere in the middle. They both did a good job., although Speed was involved in bumping into a guy who ended up wrecked. My husband followed him during open-wheel and said that's how he drove there. They did say it wasn't really his fault, since some of the others drop some speed and he had no where to go. I tried to look for the results on Nascar.com and couldn't find them.
 
Annett is the youngster that won.

Dario ended 17th.

I don't really think Scott Speed was at fault. The guy 2 cars ahead slowed suddenly and Scott had nowhere to go. Chain reaction accident.

what happened to Crocker? was she a contender or an also ran. she was in an Evernham car right? over here in Korea we didn't to see the race. we have this garbage TV called Armed Forces Network that only gets a few channels... Military channels...

I thought she wasn't supposed to be driving for Ray anymore. Per Gillette
 
She was out there in the #98 Dodge and I do believe that it was an Evernham car. Don't know where she finished, but it wasn't in the top ten. She started near the back and pitted right away for gas and that dropped her to the rear for the main start.
 
Not bad for Dario's first race in a stock car. He qualified 6th but had to start in the back because of an engine change.:(

He placed 17th but was clean throughout the whole race.
