ARE TRUCKS FASTER THAN CUP CARS?

Well here we are, watching the old follow the leader again. It seems to me that the TOP nascar events should be dominated by the cup cars. Maybe making each car keep its original from the factory template and use the same engine specs for all races including carburation for these engines. It is silly to see TRUCKS raceing as fast or faster than the cup cars. Let us not forget it is called nascar raceing not follow the leader. The winner of these races is the car that just happens to be in the front (not in the lead) when the checkers fall. Come on nascar we want to see who is the fastest and the best! AND which manufacturer is interested in winning!

I agree.

But I bet you that the majority of folks down there at Daytona are perfectly happy with what's going on down there.

Personally, I hope I get called into work.
