I'm visiting for Thanksgiving, but am taking a salad.

If you want something different, try this salad recipe. It's absolutely the only way I'll eat English peas(can't stand the damn little green things).

Pea Salad

1 can white shoepeg corn-- drained
1 can yellow corn --- drained
1 can LaSeuer peas --- drained
1 can cut green beans --- drained
1 2oz. jar chopped pimento -- drained
1 bunch chopped green onions
1 green pepper --- chopped
Put all these items in a sealable container after draining thoroughly.

Dressing: in a saucepan mix--

3/4 cup Apple Cider vinegar
1/4 cup oil
1 cup sugar
Bring to just barely a boil --- Pour over ingredients and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before eating. Keeps seemingly forever.

The veggies come out crunchy and sooooo sweet. Absolutely delicious.
