At this point, all I can say is thoughts and prayers to Aric , and hoping its nothing serious.

That's an amazing photo....

Hopefully he gets out in pretty good shape. He's obviously injured, and possibility significantly (relatively speaking) but it could have been even worse. The wreck did remind a lot of Elliott's at Talladega 20'ish years ago.

Just what i was thinking. Barely missed hitting either car right in the door bars. That wreck had the potential to be really bad for all three involved.
 
Can not imagine the impact he endured in that car, it is almost painful just thinking about the rear of that car smacking back down... all three took some vicious hits.
 
I'm pretty sure we saw Aric moving his arms freely when he first was placed on the stretcher. That is the biggest thing, the best news, after we learned he was awake and alert. However, I do wish the RPM update had confirmed movement in extremities.

RPM statement: "Almirola was alert after the accident as safety professionals removed him from the car. He was transported by helicopter to a local medical facility for evaluation. He is in stable condition and will be held overnight for further observation."

I want reports too, but there are probably protocols and there may still be reports that the medical team is still evaluating, before establishing a solid diagnosis.
Then there is the business or courtesy of ensuring that family gets updated before going public.

The family may also need some privacy or initially witheld information for legitimate reasons as well.
