Well, it is official. Lance Armstrong won his record tying FIFTH straight Tour De France today! If there is a more amazing, inspiring story in sports, I am unaware of it. Many, if not all of you know Lance defeated Testicular Cancer several years ago. I don't think most of us grasp how truely impressive it is that he not only beat the cancer, but went on to win what is arguably the most physically demanding championship in the world, a 2 week-plus bike race against the best riders in the world five times! Hats off to Lance. A true Champion in every sense of the word! :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute:
 
4x, not only did Lance have testicular cancer, he also had brain cancer. Doctors removed 14 tumors throughout his body! It is a miracle that the man is alive, much less a consecutive 5-time Tour de France winner! My hat's off to this incredible individual for his accomplishments. He has stated that he will return for competition next year, hoping for his 6th! :salute:

I heard somewhere that they were thinking about changing the name of the Tour.........
