Wragman, this has been happening for about a week, even tho I have restored settings from before this started. I have shut down for HOURS, restarted and it still happens.

Might it be my ISP that just added an antivirus that I already have?

I can't forward mail and sometimes HTML or even text comes thru somes as something I have to load just look at??

I believe you have my email addie, and so does QT, HELP PLEASE

Did the problems start when the ISP made changes? Have you downloaded something from somewhere you aren't familar with?

Did you install the antivirus that your ISP provided? If so, uninstall it and use yours. If you did not install it and your provider is scanning your email for viruses before or as they are downloaded, then de activate your anti virus's email scanner. I believe you said you used Norton....just disable that part and see what happens.

NO!!!!, but it did start when the ISP made changes, and only seems to happen with email and deleting their pop-ups...or trying to forward.

I am so confused and pizzed, and sometimes it just locks up too.

My ISP did this free on their own, not my choice. and now I am more confused....I love my own Norton and didn't need the ISP to provide it.

Kat, do you use hotmail? If so I think I know what it is. Who is your ISP? If it's not hotmail, and its who I think I may be able to help deactivate what they have done.

No I do not use hotmail and my isp is known to TNWF as well as others who have me email addie. I'll send you a PM with my email addie and purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Still happening, and my isp did that for all subscribers.

I really do NOT want to uninstall my Norton Systemworks.

AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH, this is one pissed off Kat:mad:

Kat don't uninstall your Norton......just disable the email scan option within Norton. If the problem stops, call your ISP and make them help you solve the problem so you can go back to using Norton's email scanner. I'm sure it can be done. You just need to varify that it's a conflict between anti virus scans......it seems that way but you won't know unless you disable one or the other......you only have control over Norton. Try it to see if the problem goes away.
