Does anyone remember the Article in stock car racing that ran in the early 1990's about Power thru raceing power steering and water pumps???? If so please post which issue it was in!!!
I'd be curious to see that too. Best guess is it discusses the advantages of the race units vs the non-race units as far as reduced inertia, impellers with less cavitation and cavitation at higher rpm, etc....like to see it.
I'm gonna dig around and see if I can find it. I 've only had about 7 different automobile magazine subscriptions and some of em started in 1987....so,its gonna be fun trying to find it! Problem is it could have been in Circle track, or the winston cup scene as well!
Sorry, couldn't find a Circle Track artical on this particular topic...There was one or two about water pumps, some about dry sump pumps and even a fuel pump/power steering pump combination....Oh welll.
