Not quite follow. Don't have a stats page bookmarked, but Marcis won more than one race in his career. That wasn't even his last win. I am certain 71fan can quote 'em to ya, chapter and verse. :P
 
What I want to know,Is who,s the babe?Thats not Theresa Earnhardt is it?
 
Well, I know Dave had 5 wins, the first at Martinsville in '75. Three more came in '76, and the last in '82, but I don't know what tracks. :)

Looks more like Jeannie C. Riley to me lol. You remember her, her momma socked it to the Harper Valley PTA?
 
I knew he ran 2nd in points a couple times, but I thought he only had one win.

Well gosh, looks like it all got filled in pretty well. But no, I don't know the names of the other two tracks he won at.

It is also my understanding that he won twice in the pre-modern era but got no idea where or when.

And btw, his Dega entry has been pulled.:(
 
Hey, 71: Did you see my photos of Rattlesnake Hill (or, what I think is Rattlesnake Hill) in my Dover Downs thread? Just wanted to confirm that I got it right. :)
 
yup, saw em. And if that's the closest hill, that's it.

Hopefully catching a press pass but if not, as poor as I've been since the 9-11 stuff the hill is probably all the more I can afford.

It used to be free but not sure any more.

When I was there last fall, I kept thinking that it looked like a lot of fun on that hill over yonder. Probably a bit cooler, considering the distance from the hot track. The heat was just so completely unbearable. Don't know how you do it. :)
 
I'll have to find that thread about Rattlesnake Hill. Sounds like the hill over looking Phoenix.
 
If I have my brain on correctly, Rattlesnake Hill overlooks turns 3 and 4 facing west or thereabouts, AND it's the only hill there with a view of the track.

I think abooja put the pics in a going to bristol thread.
