At Daytona media day, Danica Patrick said she wasn't sure what state Bristol is in. BMS GM Jerry Caldwell dropped by her hauler this afternoon to confirm that when she arrives for her first NASCAR short track racin', it will indeed be in Tennessee!

Sounds like he asked her a trick question. Bristol is indeed in Virginia. Bristol Motor Speedway is in Tennesee.

Just sayin'

As of today, courtesy of BMS Executive Vice President and General Manager Jerry Caldwell, Patrick is well aware that the track is in Tennessee. Caldwell presented the Wisconsin-native with a basket full of items from, and representative of, the Volunteer State at her hauler in Daytona this afternoon. Included in the basket was:

Bristol's in Virginia and Tennessee. The state line runs right down the middle of State Street.

You know, I never knew that as a person mostly hears Birstol Tennessee

Of course my US geography may be off as I'm not from there :)

It is. I just got my RV uncovered yesterday morning and I'm already packing for the trip there next month. Can't wait.

I drove down 2 years ago for the innagaural Modified race, tv does not do the place justice. If ever you have the chance to see a race there, go for it , you won't be let down.

+1

I have been there the last two years and the modified race has been the best race of the weekend.
