I have four nominees:

1.) NASCAR for uninstalling Darlington as the Labor Day Weekend venue back in 2003.
2.) Darth Vader (Jimmie) for wrecking himself.
3.) Jeff Gordon for chickening out in turn three and handing the win to Hambone.
4.) Harvick for his crying over the water bottle caution that wasn't for a water bottle.

Gordon, he has to win but doesn't do it.

ESPN for manufacturing the water bottle story and the track clean up crew that can't clean up speedy dri?Doesn't make for a good show to leave all that speedy dri out there to get on those tires.

Unfortunately, I gotta go with Gordon this week. He had a great chance to put the bumper to Hamlin and take the win, but yet, he didn't do it. If he doesn't win next weekend, he's gonna be haunted by this Atlanta race for quite some time.

The idea of putting the bumper to Hamlin works better in the bench racing posting world. This ain't Martinsville, it is 190 mph, and if he hits Hamlin he probably wrecks too, or at least he breaks his momentum.
Hamlin is an emotional guy, but I don't recall him ever racing Gordon dirty or taking a cheap shot.

Hindsight is usually 20/20, but I am not believing it this time. Because I think Gordon was too hard on himself after the race, or to self critical imo. He is a good guy that just let me the disappointment get the better of him, he probably felt bad for his team and the weight of disappointing Rick Hendricks rule the moment.

But he enters Richmond with a strong run there last year, and comes from this race showing the speed to win.
I am wanting Kyle to get the last wild card, but I know Jeff is mentally stronger. If Kyle has a couple pit stops go bad or team miscues it is harder for him to remain composed and Jeff can still get in at Richmond even on points.

It ain't over, and again I don't think he lost the wild card at Atlanta.

I'm going with Harvick for his little face slap of Keselowski as he was leaving the NNS Press Conference.

Fast forward to the 5 minute mark if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Thanks DP, heard about it but hadnt seen it.

I'm splitting my vote between Johnson and ESPN. Johnson wrecked himself despite what his spotter says. ESPN for trying to create drama that wasn't there by showing Kez throwing out his water bottle saying that caused the late caution in the NNS race when it was a replay from earlier in the race.

Oh no, I alredy have a problems with the Nascar fans throwing out beer and soda cans out of their cars onto my front lawn, guess now there will be water bottles too.

I don't know. He didn't look much like he had changed his tune since the post race interview. I think he was just being an a$$.

Witht the information he had to go on at the time do you blame him for being a bit peeved? He had a dominate car led the most laps and due to a still unexplained caution lost a big lead and was ganged up on and beat on the restart. Right after the race the ESPN tv crew showed the water bottle as being thrown out right before the caution it was'nt till much later that ESPN said that was actually filmed much earlier in the race.
I like a driver that shows some emotion and Don't Like Getting Beat!

OK, you've convinced me. I've now changed my vote to Keselowski for not standing up and kicking his a$$. ;)

I go for calling the 29 the boneheads. They had a fast car, and they screwed it once again. Trademark Kevin and Gil. They need couples therapy. Just look at Kevins face above my thread. It says it all.

That look is from the NNS race in the #33.

I wouldn't call ESPN the bone head. I think they had a decent story going there for a minute. I mean why did Kes throw the water bottle out of his car anyways? I think he was most definitely trying to get a caution.
