C4C points as they run

Uh oh, there goes Matt. Two Roush cars gone, can Mark keep his from failing?

Questions galore here.

1. Wonder why Bill Elliott is running a Ford for this race. I know that his heart is really with the Ford camp, but in the past, he's been running Dodges for Evernham. Who owns this #98?

2. How come Carl Edwards is having more success with the #99 than did Jeff Burton? How come Burton is having better success in the #30 than those before him?

Questions, questions, questions. When will they end? :)

buck, Bill owns the #98. He has sponsorship from Coca-Cola and McDonalds.

Crap!!!!!!!!! Jeff Gordon is now in the garage with a rear-end gear failure! :(

Maj, I wonder why Bill chose to race that car? Couldn't they get sponsorship for the #91?
To continue before I was interrupted with Jeff Gordon's problem.................Evernham is sponsored by Mountain Dew, a Pepsi product, and therefore his car(s) don't carry any type of Coca-Cola sponsorship. I'm sure that if Evernham could have gotten sponsorship, he would have had Bill in one of his cars. But, just remember, Atlanta is 'home' for Coca-Cola. And who better to have in a Coca-Cola sponsored car than Bill Elliott. :)

Bill has always been associated with Coke, so that could have been a big problem with Ray. I do wonder though if Ray has given any help, albeit secretly from Dodge? Bill hasn't won at this track since they reconfigured it. I've heard him say in the past that he really doesn't like it all that much now.

buck, I don't think it was a 'problem' with Ray, but it probably didn't help him acquire sponsorship for a part-time deal for Bill's runs. I really don't have a clue in that area.

Kasey is catching Marky. Could this be the race he finally wins? Should have won yesterday, but those cautions got him.

Well, I guess what goes around comes around, doesn't it?
