Looks like something brewing that may bring some much needed rain to East Texas.

Katia looking more and more like the East Coast is in for another wet and windy ride.

When you look at the cone for both storms, they are heading straight for me. Hmmmm, I wonder if they could collide over Winston Salem. Would that be a perfect storm?

Looking at the probable tracks, it doesn't look like the gulf storm will give any relief to Texas. I'm sure most there would gladly take the high winds if there were rain with it. As for Katia, the models that I have seen have only one making landfall, and that would be up close to NYC.

Yer not kidding. I think the different models are trying to decide who to scare next. I swear, they change every hour
