Atlas Rocket Launch at the Cape in Florida this morning 8-8-19

I watched a few several years ago. They're really spectacular at dawn and dusk.

In the late 60's we saw a lot of rockets blow up, from where we lived, while they were testing the Mercury and Gemini rockets. Some would spin like crazy then blow up, pretty spectacular to a Teenage boy. :booya:
 
My favorite launch was the last Moon shot, I was 8 miles away on a causeway (close as we could get) and it lite the sky and the area I was in, like one of those amber colored street lights, it took the engine sound a couple minutes to get to us, but the crackling sound was cool.
 
It seems more like more propaganda from the world is 360° kooks.
