MIR CHOOSES VP RACING FUELS; MAKIN` POWER AT BUDDS CREEK!
NEWARK, DE (November 10, 2008) Maryland International Raceway officials announced a three-year agreement naming VP Racing Fuels as Official Fuel of MIR, beginning in 2009. As part of the agreement, VP will be MIR's exclusive supplier of race fuels including VP110, C12, C16, MS103 and M1 Methanol in bulk. The track also expects to add pail and drum inventory of VP's most popular specialty fuels such as Q16, U4.2, C14 and M5 Methanol.
"We're excited to bring VP on board as our Official Fuel given its well-deserved reputation for quality products and unsurpassed service," said Royce Miller, President of MIR. "Our racers deserve the best products at the best value and VP Racing Fuels delivers on both."
"Maryland International Raceway (a.k.a. "Budds Creek") is one of the fastest and most professionally run tracks on the East Coast," said Jim Kelly, VP's Eastern Regional Manager. "Royce Miller is a great promoter and well respected in the racing industry. We're very excited about working with him and his staff and look forward to providing quality fuels at Budds Creek for many years to come."
MIR is a 1/4-mile IHRA-sanctioned drag strip that draws from the entire Mid-Atlantic region. It hosts the IHRA President's Cup Nationals each summer, as well as Mountain Motor Nationals, U.S. Pro Stock Open, Ford Fever Classic and The World Cup Finals, among many other events. Also in 2009, "Pinks All Out" will return to MIR.
MIR welcomes Potomac Speedway and Budds Creek Motocross competitors to purchase VP Racing Fuels while in Budds Creek.
