For the fall race, that is.....

Also, the Phoenix race is to be extended by 63 laps for the spring race.

This was just reported on SIRIUS/XM NASCAR Radio.

Now, if we could just get Autoclub Speedway eliminated all together. I'm just saying.

Some of this off-season's news has been good. This is one of them.

Not sure how I feel about this. I'd rather seen Auto Club have only one 400 mile race a season. Phoenix is a good track, but 600 miles is a long race and now we're going to do that twice a year? Once at Phoenix, and again at Charlotte?

Why are they making changes to these tracks when Ponono and Michigan both have 2 races and tend to be very boring?

I agree on Auto Club. One race is enough.

I'm not sure where you get 600 miles @ Phoenix. They increased it by 63 laps. It is a one mile track. The race will be 375 miles in length rather than 312 miles. And, that is just for the spring race.

I think you meant 600 kilometers at Phoenix? Well, 604km:rolleyes:

Yeah, that was my bad. I was reading an ESPN article and they said 600 miles instead of 600 kilometers. That's why I was like "damn that's a long race".

Serves me right for trusting anything written on ESPN.
