RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — NASCAR driver Elliott Sadler (FSY) has won the race to the delivery room.
Sadler's wife gave birth to a baby boy on Monday morning, a day after his 24th-place finish in the Daytona 500.

Sadler says on his website the baby is named Wyatt Herman Fritz Sadler.

Four other drivers have announced their wives are pregnant and due this season, including Carl Edwards (FSY), who nervously hoped all weekend his wife would make it to her Wednesday due date.

Also expecting babies are four-time series champions Jimmie Johnson (FSY) and Jeff Gordon (FSY), as well as Juan Pablo Montoya (FSY)
