-Now Brad Keselowski and Kyle Busch can be linked in another way.

Tough competitors on the track and team owners off it, they’ll share another common trait – both will become a dad in 2015.

Keselowski announced in a blog on his website that girfriend Paige White is due to deliver a baby girl. Keselowski did not give a date for the baby’s arrival. Busch’s wife, Samantha is due to deliver a baby boy in May. This follows the birth of Kyle Larson’s son, Owen, who was born in December.

Keselowski, 30, addressed the matter of having a child before being married in his blog:

“I know that we’re not doing this in the traditional order of things. I will simply say this: I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my life, and Paige is a very large part of that. She’s an amazing person. She’s soft-spoken, well-educated and smart. She’s beautiful, which never hurts. Most importantly, she understands who I am and where I’ve come from in ways that most people wouldn’t know or understand. Her family, which is extremely supportive and feels like an extension of my own, came from very humble beginnings, just like mine did. She’s seen the world from a lot of different perspectives that most people never get to see.’’

I had my daughter out of wedlock 21 years ago and she turned out wonderful. She will be graduating with honors from college this spring. The two of us are very close because it has always just been the two of us. I might add she is brilliant. I am the luckiest woman ever for having that young woman.

not interested in any moral debate. all I will say is the responsibility of bringing a child into this world is daunting. it can also be the most rewarding experience of a lifetime. thank you to my two daughters. and best wishes to the parents.

What gets me is Nascar holds itself out to be family oriented, praying before races, it's own ministry and you get fined for saying bad words, yet knock yer girlfriend up and all is good. I'm not singling any one driver or girlfriend out just saying how much different things are today. Those girls would be off tending to a ''sick aunt'' in a far away city and not paraded around. The knockerupper would have some serious 'splaining to do and not many friends.

I guess I am just to old to praise out of wedlock births, but, hay, to each his own.

I hope a healthy baby is born and that the parents are committed to one another. I do completely understand your point and that is all I am going to say.

15,000 sawyer the lawyers waiting for one of those baby daddy live in arraignments to crater. Might as well get hitched for the kids sake. Look at Kurt and there aren't any kids between them.
