"A baby seal doesn't want to get ate by a whale, but a whale has got to eat," Keselowski said. "And then when he does, should he be mad at the whale or should he be mad he wasn't the fastest swimmer?"

"I do not feel the need to apologize for someone else's mistake. I guess maybe they want me to apologize for putting them in a scenario where they made a mistake. But they had an opportunity to not make it, and they did. I feel no sympathy for someone who makes their own mistake other than I don't wish it upon them."

I really like it when a driver speaks the truth rather than whine to the media and fans.

Kinda agree with Brad. Gordon made a mistake choosing the outside lane. Then he made another mistake by leaving enough space for a car to pass him. Then he made another mistake when he tried to close that hole when Brad was already there.

You know what, I was not much of a Brad fan, but, after this season, I now like him better (as a driver) than ever before, more power to him and the statement above is absolutely correct. Plus we all know what event he is talking about in that statement, that's right, when Jiffy drove down into him and caused his own problems.

I don't do Trolling threads. Besides the bait is stale.

I like how you mentioned the word "whine" … because its exactly what you have been doing ever since it happened … whining about Gordon … how many more threads are you going start about this?

Disclaimer … for those of you who are not from NFP Pete has started numerous threads there and beaten the subject to death …

We have several of those threads on here. I don't understand why somebody would want to bait kid's and the less fortunate adults just for their own enjoyment.

When it happened we discussed ad-nauseum as I am sure you all did too …. the race was 5 weeks ago and yes you are correct … the bait is stale … Pete has an issue with anything Gordon, especially one of his most ardent somewhat obnoxious fans …

I dont even like Brad but I do appreciate his will to win and his ability to withstand all the hate directed at him. Nascar needs more drivers like Brad IMO

Has anybody mentioned the "hole" yet ? ................. There was one

I like Brad and also appreciate the fact he will drive the wheels off of his car to get the win but this thread is just another bash and bait …

I can certainly see how you admire the fact how Brad puts up with all the hate and vitriol … Your a Kyle fan …

How very observant of you :p

Brad drives the wheels off of his car. Isn't that what a race car driver is supposed to do

It depends on who the driver is apparently ..................... some receive praise for hard racing and some get the crap bashed out of them for the same thing. I dont have a copy of the fan rule book so I dont know who is who

I suppose a fan rule book could be written. But to capture it all, it would have to contain an infinite amount of content.
And even if written with the best of intentions and with skillful accuracy, it would be just a skillfully crafted piece of BS.

Simply stated with people the whole world is subjective, or more plainly stated full of crap, and drivers even worse. Most drivers complain when it doesn't go as planned, and the fans ratchet it up.
Also while having little concern for other drivers and their nations.

I like Harvick a lot, and Kyle Busch a little. But the one thing that stands out, is that most of their fans or Haters use the same reasoning. It is like a universal set standards or template for those two, flip them as needed to conveniently hate or support either or both.

^ That is just one case, but it applies in many other cases.
Just human nature or people being people.

The only reason I post about that is because the media keeps bringing it up, or Brad, or Jeff the whiner keeps going on about it.

I guess it's time for me to quit posting opinions, it seems what racers say is a bad subject and should not be quoted.

I like this post, I like the other one too :D

Sorry the wife rudely kept wanting to talk while I posted, so I forgot I had already pasted it.

Really? My wife says I never listen to her,,or something like that.

Its not possible to please everyone, Brad knows that all to well

I want to like Bad Brad, he is obviously a great talent and most definitely has earned his way through the ranks.

He got a one off shot to drive for a suspended Musgrave in the old camping world series and caught Juniors eye. I like that route a lot better than getting in through a blood line, or with polish.
When he got to drive for James Finch once he again he shined with the limited opportunity. It is hard not to appreciate the accomplishment and the odds he defied.

Not that it matters much I am just a fan, and he doesn't need the approval. But his constant crying/pouting etc has become old. The Gordon hole has nothing to do with my opinion either. I was already fed up with him prior.

The drama queen theatrics was just to much. He carried on as if crucified in 2013, as if Nascar and the illuminati had a vendetta. Martinsville, and Richmond in the spring as foreplay for the way screwed the field at Talladega while six laps down.
I don't fault him for trying but after championing his scars at Martinsville and Richmond, the sense of entitlement was clear.

Then he was an idiot at the Charlotte chase race during the post race. So there was no sympathy for him at Texas. I definitely enjoyed his elimination at Phoenix, natural elimination of excrement imo.

Note: I liked Waltrip in the late 70s and early 80s, he was definitely more polarizing so go figure, I have my own set of double standards.
