Unless you've actually fought during World War II, you would never know the atmosphere of what happened, the men, the events that shaped our world history. Band of Brothers really shows the bravery, camraderie and experiences of the US Army during World War II, focusing on it's most famed and prestiged group: The 101st Airborne Division. The experiences and things that are portrayed in the mini-series up until now were only things that someone today could only read about in history books or talk to the men who actually who actually fought in them about. This was made with the consultation of the men who braved that jump into occupied Normandy in 1944 to the Battle of the Bulge and then to the conclusion of the war in 1945.

Trust me, for anyone looking for a very accurate account of the events, an accurate account that we can only think about but the real men who fought know what the atmosphere was like, that happened in WWII's European Theatre of Combat, I suggest you check out Band of Brothers on DVD or in the miniseries coming up. Theres also a book available out there written by the late WWII historian Stephen Ambrose.

For anyone who hasnt seen it, it will be on the History Channel on Sunday. :salute:
