I know it's early but I put the race thread up for us for tonight. I'm happy Smoke is starting up front. Hope he stays up there!

I hate the fact that the race is on ABC. The number (and length) of commercial breaks when ABC carries a race is obscene!

BUT, in the second half of the race ABC will do NASCAR Non-Stop. (Why the hell can't they do that for the whole damn race, I wonder...

None the less, I will watch every (televised) lap!

The folks at Charlotte go all out for race night don't they. Fireworks, giant screen, yellow walls they love being special.
 
I would like to see Tony and a few of the guys at the back have a good race so that it would tighten up the points and keep the chase exciting all the way until the end.:)
 
Well it can be worse than ABC, I am working 12 hours tonight, and will be watching the DVR later.

In the meantime it is just reading this thread, and getting a few updates on the mobile.


But at times and different places the signal is blocked, it is a large facility.
Plus I train people, and that kills most of the free time.

It sucks when work gets in the way of your fun.
 
Another quick commercial and Bestwick's excuse is so that they'd be ready for the green flag pit stops.
 
It looks so far like these chase contenders are running a pretty smart race and not taking any chances, but it is still early.
 
I'm listening to the 88 radio on nascar.com race view and it sounds like someone is trying to tap in. I've heard an unfamiliar voice a few times one time it sounded like he was saying in a spooky voice "get out of the car"

I'm only on myfirst beer. whatever it is the team seemed uneffected, wait a minute LeTarte just asked JR about it and they are gonna switch channels if it keeps up. JR said it sounds like someone after 8 beers.

"Greg Biffle extremely happy with his car". I should hope so!!!

Ed: Then again, he hasn't exactly had the best of luck this year.
 
Greg Biffle is a class act and a hell of a racecar driver. Sucks that he's not in the Chase; he's every bit as good of a driver as anyone in the top 12.
 
I can't believe how bad the Penske cars are. It seems like they haven't figured out their new cars before coming to the track.
