Everything about this game sucks so far. Notre Dame sucks, the officiating is horrendous and the probability that Alabama will win 174-3 sucks.

very bad call on the punt.....I'm not happy about the td either. Sorry nd fans....that was wrong.

I'm not sorry. ND gets the benefit of the calls 99.9% of the time. I say tough sh*t! I'm loving this. Join a conference and see how far they go. OVERRATED!!!

I can go back to 1966 when Alabama was screwed and ND was ranked over them....even.this past season when ND got the calls from the zebras....but I hate to win q game like this.

If it makes you feel better the ND defender was within 1 yard of the returner. In college there doesn't have to be contact for interference. Besides it's only 7 out of the 21 there down. ROLL TIDE!!!

The "fair catch" call was late and the interference came from Alabama.

I have to give fergy credit. At least he can criticize a call when it goes his teams' way. Most other sports fans won't. Hell, I know quite a few Seattle fans who still defend that call in the Packers game because it helped them make the playoffs.

The defender was within the 1 yard box the returner gets in college. Either way I don't see the game coming down to that call.

Momentum is everything in football. Remember, that call came after the blown incomplete pass call.

This is what happens when bandwagon sports fans come around -- they'll defend everything if it helps their brand new favorite team.

Wow, look at that. All of a sudden, every single person on my Facebook page is a life-long Alabama fan.

That's the worst part about Alabama's annual National Championship victory -- having to see a bunch of bandwagon riders post "ROLL TIDE ROLL" all night.

"ROLL TIDE":D

This unfortunately will feed the SEC egos even more. Would've been nice if Oregon or K-State could've pulled it out Nov.17th.

The best thing is to make all non SEC football teams Division II because it is like boys playing men. Andy is this like 6 or 7 SEC titles in row (so many it is hard to keep count). Glad to see Notre Dame getting beat, but hopefully none of their boys will suffer any permanent injuries against a greater power.

I doubt that.

Nevermind. I see your point now, Bull. :)

Well well I am ashamed.... Alabama has allowed Notre Dame to get a TD

I would have been happy to say nothing but after about a month or more of your anti SEC crusade I changed my mind.

Just so you know, I told me son before the game that I predicted it would be 42-13 Alabama. I kind of wanted Notre Dame to win, only because of Mante Te'o (or however you spell his name), but I knew is was much more likely that Alabama would just crush them.

I'm ok with Nick Saban winning another title though. He played his college ball at Kent State which is really close to here. I worked a mile or so from the KSU campus and became a fan of their teams as many coaches and players came to the Firestone I worked at and I got to know some of them very well. Saban also was a really good defensive coordinator for the Browns under Bill Belicheck(sp?).

I DVR'd it so I could watch it a half hour after it started so I can skip commercials. I do that with pretty much everything but the Super Bowl (where the wife and kids won't let me skip the commercials). After about 10 minutes I started scanning it at speed 2 to see if it got any better and it didn't. I did that up to halftime and quit recording at that point.
