Smells like a debate to me. I am not for sure for either one, was wondering what u guys thought.
One hand got a system that allows a team that has a higher rating to get into the BCS rather than the better team, don't kow really who is #1, but also you perserve the traditional bowls which is unlike any other sport giving it a huge trademark.
Then you got the March Madness style playoffs, no doubt this would slove the who is #1 jumbo, but then you loose the trademark thing.

I think it should be a 16 team bracket for the champ. Everyone would know who the real champs are. It will never happen, but it would be good for Div. I.

Hey Nate, how have you been. I haven't talked to ya in a few weeks.

hey tab, goin pretty good over here. Been busy with school and hunting on the weekends. Going to inform you that 2 geese arn't going to make it down there this year and decided to rest in my freezer awhile to aid me in a meal for the croc pot this week :) Finals are this comming week so after that I will get back on here and get back to my normal posting:)

Good, that will be 2 less to take target practace on my Trailblazer. :D

PLAYOFF!! Every other form of football has playoffs. NFL, High School, Division III, Division II, and Divsion 1aa in college all have playoffs.

My favorite is a 12 team system with the top 4 teams receiving byes. By playing for a bye, it makes the regular season mean alittle more. Then play these games at the bowl sites. "This semi Final game between Minnesota and Texas A&M is brought to you by Fed Ex in the Orange Bowl" The other bowl games can still exist with teams playing just like they do now. Then the Championship game is played the Saturday night before the Super Bowl at the same site.

A playoff system. The Bull Crap System showed everybody what they are all about this year......money. Iowa should be going to the Rose Bowl, but the BCS didn't think that matchup with Washington St would fill the seats, so they had to arrange things where the most money would be made. And cut down on the number of Bowls...28 is too many.

I like an eight team playoff where the big 4 bowls still get their game and it means a lot. I hear the only thing keeping it from happening is the current contract with the BCS and the TV networks running through 2005 or so. Then, it is supposed to happen.

I don't think I'll ever see a playoff in my lifetime :(

I agree about the Iowa situation. But the Orange Bowl picks first and they took them. The problem is Iowa can't say no and go to the Rose. If they say no, they are ineligible for any BCS bowl game.
