why did junior have to say that, how many damn times did they say it during the telecast, man i was getting sick of that, im sure we will here it more throughut the year. :bleh:
 
It would gag a maggott the amount of times they said it. I expect it will be the case a lot this year. Just thank God it wasn't said about DW though! :eek:
 
Did BP ever have a mullet? Now that would have been cool. :bleh: BP.

Parson's is so over rated. Can't stand listening to him.Atleast after the Daytona 500 it'll be the good old boys with Jeff and Larry and even DW till July. I'll take DW over Parsons anyday.
 
This is so wrong. Bestwick is the one who is the king of bad.He blabbed on during the pass MacMurray made for the lead. Then after a break when Dave Blaney was leading,he didn't even mention the new leader. And even when Blaney was coming up thru the field,NONE of them was giving him a call,same way with DJ,they didn;t even hardly say anything about him till he was in 2nd place. I'll take Bob Jenkins over Alan Flatbush anyday.
 
I used to like Bestwick but now I can barely tolerate him. In fact both NBC and FOX leave me a little cold. Wally is really the only one I like anymore.
 
I guess "That's Entertainment" but I don't like it. Na$ca$h and the Networks need to get somebody the true fan can identify with, not just clowns in the broadcasting booth. I believe they have a BIG hand in at least approving the commentators. I still miss my TNN and ESPN coverage before Na$car bosses got so dang greedy!

Honestly, as bad as FOX and NBC seem to be, they arent. I was watching ESPN classic the other day and they were showing a race hosted by ESPN on 1996, and that was pretty bad coverage. I think the ideal group of hosts would be Jeff Hammond, Larry MacReynolds, Wally Dallenbach, and Mike Joy.
 
I love NBC's coverage, I think it really tunes to people who are just getting into the sport, they make every attempt to simplify it for the people getting in, and every attempt to customize it for the veteran fan.

What I dont like about FOX, are Darrell Waltrip and Larry MacReynolds, they talk about parts on a car that I have never ever heard of before, I dont know what the hell a two ply-bit, boring wide whatever is, yet they prattle on and on about one part for half the race and then DW nicknames that part a Jerrymonger or whatever the hell he wants to call it, then during the race, he talks about how he flipped over like 5 times at some unknown track and his past experiences while the race is still going on, hell I have a long list of complaints about Darrell Waltrip that would take me ages just to read a small fraction of it.
 
If ya don't want to listen to BP or anyone else on the cast team, put the TV on mute.

Good idea Slick! I usually turn to MRN Radio and just turn the volume on the tv down during the races.
 
It bugs the crap outta me when people bitch and whine about BP, DW, Larry Mac, or whoever else...

Its that simple! If ya don't like hearing them, put the TV on mute! If ya don't like seeing them, then don't watch!

Yes, I do agree. And, I quite frequently tune out those announcers that are getting on my nerves. ;)
 
But you never whine about it, so your cool with it! lol!

I agree, I tune in to watch the racing and I overlook the announcers. I do say to my wife sometimes, He screwed that up calling somebody the wrong name or something like that and I say "I could do that job better than he can." :lol:
 
Nope. No since in whining about it. Ain't nothing I can do to change it, so I just tune it out most of the time. I thought men were supposed to be good at tuning things out???? :eek: :lol: ;)
 
i wasnt bitching about ther announcers, i dont like them, but i was sick of hearing the king of cool, im my opinion wally bickers alot with allen, no chemistry, and BP messes up so much if you listen close, i understand why people don tlike dw an larry, but they have there sh*t together, rarely mess up with out correcting themselves, and they work good together, which i dont think nbc does, i think the old tnn anouncer would work with BP and wally good, is his name Eli gold?
