Barb Benson ( Johnny's sister) just informed the JB fans ( before it hit Jayski) That Johnny and Phoniex racing have parted ways effective IMMEDIATLY in both the BGN #1 and the NNC #09

All I can say is that This Just SUCKS! That is if the rumored 2nd Cal Wells car is false.

It would be great if The sponorship came though and JB will start running the #96 for Cal soon!

Guess I gotta change my wallpaper, and void that check I was about to send out for a JB Diecast and T-shirt

I dont care where he lands as long as it is a good team!!

Hey Lappy your guy Robby just put his #70 Indycar into the wall at Indy but he is ok, got it pretty good though. I guess he might be using his back up and not going to roll it out for a late entry for another driver

Glad hes ok though! :)

BGNRacing.com has confirmed that Johnny Benson has been released by Phoenix Racing and Jamie McMurray will drive the #1 Dodge this weekend at Richmond in the Busch Series race. A news release will be sent out Tuesday.

Losing the #09 ride is no big deal because that car is uncompetitive. I'm surprised about his BGN ride though.

Time for good old JB to go to the Senior circuit... Also known as the Craftsman Truck Series.

Johnny has been testing the 96 Chevy for PPI! Congrates Johnny!

I really hope something will work out for Johnny soon. Cal Wells and PPI would be a much better ride than he was sharing with Ruttman who started and parked.

Poor JB, just can not find the luck. I am sure he will land somewhere and have a heck of a ride.

The #1 BGN team was good, just bad luck I wish he could have stayed there but now it looks like he will be driving for PPI late this year and next year IF sponsorship is found.

What is the deal between James Finch and Chip Ganassi? Can't Finch make his own decision or his he getting paid too much by ganassi? Spencer was highly competitive in that car, maybe they should have kept spencer and had him run busch full time.

Chip pulls the strings because he has the $$$,unfortunately it doesn't always work out for the nice guy Johnny B. I think he wants Mcmurray to get plenty of seat time,he is, as of now the young gun at Gannasi Cup racing. Sterling won't be around too much longer, maybe 1 or 2 more years, then he will probably hit the Trucks or retire all together.
