These drivers had or matched their best finish of the season on Sunday:

- Ryan Newman in 1st
- Jerry Nadeau in 4th
- Jeff Green in 7th
- Todd Bodine in 11th
- Ward Burton in 12th
- Terry Labonte in 16th
- Larry Foyt in 30th

these drivers had their worst runs of the season:

- Bill Elliott in 43rd
- Tony Raines in 42nd
- Steve Park in 39th
- Joe Nemechek in 35th
- Tony Stewart in 34th

- Jack Sprague's 22nd was his best non-plate race finish of the season.

- Matt Kenseth now has six straight top-10s; his worst finish of the year is 20th at Daytona. The next longest streak is three, by teammate Kurt Busch.

The Points?

- Johnny Benson is the only driver in the top 30 in points without a top 10 finish; he is currently 16th in points, and his best finish is 11th.

-Dave Blaney has fallen 15 spots in points (7th to 22nd) in the last two races.

- Michael Waltrip is the only driver to have been in the top 5 in points after every race this season; he, Jimmie Johnson, and Tony Stewart are the only drivers to have been in the top 10 after every race.

- Jamie McMurray was the highest finishing rookie with a 10th, and is now the highest rookie in the points, at 21st.

Interesting too, is that not only was this Jeff Green's best finish so far, his finish on the lead lap was the first time a Richard Childress car has finished on the lead lap since Daytona.

Saw a quote from Richard who said one of his objectives over the past two seasons has been acheived. He wanted to be sure that as he expanded his operation to three teams that all were equal. They are; but the problem is they're around 24th, 25th and 26th.......

Terry Labonte with a 16th as his highest finish of the season. :( A sad stat.

Dave has taken a nose-dive lately.@#$%$!

And Kenseth?Quickly becoming the guy to beat in the long haul. That sounds obvious, but in 2001 I saw Matt as the weak link in the Roush chain...now that sadly goes to Jeff Burton. :(

As for Childress:a very true point.A point to remember is this group was on a downslide before Dale was killed,if you look at it.And RAD has lost the 'A'.The top chevy team has been Hendrick for a long time now,and unless Gibbs can improve just a little bit thats not likely to change this season.
