I root for the 48. This is the first time in a long time that the 48 crew isn't known for smashing it's thumbs all the time.

The 18 is damn good though.

Yes, 2010 was a bad year. But the 5 or 6 before that, they were stellar. I don't think they are as good today as they were back then.

No way, Jimmie would have pit stops that were worse than the rest all the time. Chads setups were what won the races. Some would joke the 48 had a majic wand in the pits. Two years ago when Denny gave it away the 48 pit crew was crap. Other guys were pullin mid 13s and the 48 was a 14 to 15 at best. Now they have sharpened their stick. Last year Chad got a new crew, and this year they seem to be firing on all cylinders.

The damn 18 crew used to beat the 48 all the darn time. Now they seem to be within .5 of eachother. The 48 is a little cleaner though.

Okay, I'll toss the #17 into the mix, while acknowledging I'm prejudiced. Kenseth consistently leaves the pit two or three places ahead of where he went in. (The way he qualifies, he usually needs those spots!)

The 18 crew all came from Kurt's team. Life is a walk in the park for them now.
