With all the knowledge on this forum which track offers the best race day experience. From pre race to chequerd flag, please include everything from parking to beer and hotdogs.

All of them is too general, right ? If I had to pick one , I would start with the one you have already picked Daytona . From there I would hit the night race at Bristol . Third maybe Richmond .

do you ever sleep?

The week of the Bristol night race is second to none. The family night downtown Bristol is really a neat thing with the drivers being available and the hauler parade.

Four days of racing in the mecca of short tracks is an experience I will never forget.

Best race experience for me was the Inaugural Baltimore Grand Prix. Not much tops the atmosphere of an inaugural race.

Daytona. Speedweeks will take care of any racing cravings you have. Practice during the day at D, then at night the races at nearby New Smyna and Voulsia :) .

Everyone that I've attended has been a great experience.

Best camping & race experience is Bristol, either weekend. Bruton goes all out at this track. If you can't find something to fill your day, you're not trying. Free Free Zones and concerts are part of the weekend experience that help fill the days around this event.

Best parking & race experience is Richmond. A day full of tailgating leading up to a great race is part of a Richmond weekend. Parking is free all around this track. All kinds of entertainment & exhibits outside the front stretch.

By far I think the best way to experience a race is by camping @ the track. It is the most laid back way of attending a race. No parking concerns. Great food. Great people. We normally make a camping weekend at a track a five day event and enjoy every minute of it.

My BEST racing experiences have been when I stayed at the track for the entire weekend. And some tracks have much better ammenities than others. But my favorite experiences are from Riverside Raceway (gone) with an RV, a BBQ and a KEG. And the F1 days at the Long Beach Grand Prix where I stayed on a 35 ft sailboat in the marina.

At the top of my list for current facilities would be Texas Motor Speedway. The infield is like Mardi-Gras on the Saturday Night before a Sunday Race. When the stands are full (approx. 200K capacity) and the cars are on the track, it's an amazing experience!

I am a left-coaster (but a right-winger lol) and I have not made it to Bristol or Daytona. I would like to just so that I can say I did. Someday, maybe. I understand that the infield experience at Talladega is "extreme" and I would love to see that.

I think the All-star race at CMS is the best event i've been to, Akways something going on, and lots of excitement.

That was one of my best experiences..

Hard to say but if I had to pick one I would go with the 92 finale at Atlanta.

It was Pettys last race, Gordons first.
It was Davey's last shot at the championship, his spinning car stopped directly in front of my seat. You could see the disappointment on his face and 92 was a heaven and hell year for him, who couldhave known the worse was yet to come for him and Kulwicki.
Elliott would never get any closer. Junior Johnson would never get that close again.
And it was Kulwicki the ultimate underdog getting it done.
Really you cant script a perfect experience in advance. Races are kind of like individuals, and many of the tracks have a unique flavor that will or will not suite the taste of us individuals. I would probably pick Martinsville or Darlington to see the best race, but again no guarantees, somebody could get hooked up and stink up the show, and the less interesting track could have a barn burner. That's why they run the races.
