The Great Escape.
 
Behind Enemy Lines and Saving Private Ryan. I really wasn't supposed to see them.

Although I have seen Behind Enemy Lines, I meant Enemy at the Gates or something. They are rated R and I'm not supposed to watch them. (Family rule) But I figure they weren't R because of the sex scenes but because of the blood.

Yes. I was pretty graphic. I wouldn't mind them changing the rating system though. I think it is a real eye opener to see how bad war is.
 
yea, they should make the war movies rated PG-13 instead.

I don't agree. They still need to be R but I wish there was a way to seperate the rated R war movies from the rated R sex movies.
 
yea thats probably better. then maybe we'd be allowed to watch those movies.that would be nice.
 
I think the people watching these movies need to be mentially prepared for it though. Some of the stuff I wish I hadn't seen.
 
really? way worst then Pearl Harbor or bout the same?
 
Worse, you actually see people (of course its not real) getting blown up and shot and stuff. It is real startling. I don't think you would want to watch it.

I thought the movie "We were Soldiers...." with Mel gibson was pretty good. As for the best I would say

1) Apocolypse Now
2) Full metal Jacket
3) Saving Private Ryan
 
The Great Escape.....McQueen and Bronson, true story, excellent casting!
