BGN race today

Did anyone watch today's race? Silly question, I know............some of you watched it, I'm sure!! Pretty typical race at Pheonix.....hard to pass and track position is everything. Overall, not a bad race but no one could ever convince me it was any better than just not a bad race!! I was pulling for Kyle to win........both because of the Hendrick tragedy of last week and it would tighten up the points race for the Championship (by the way, I'm a Truex, Jr fan :) ). But when Jamie McMurray pulled the power move and passed for the lead late I was impressed.....damn those Ganassi drivers!! :( Anyway, Jamie won that one with conviction.......a good clean win and well earned. But Kyle declined a post race interview..........that really sort of pee'd me off a little. Sure, I know he dominated the race and really wanted the win....but he didn't quite do it!! And it really sort of let me down about that kid..........Jamie won fair and square and by Kyle not giving an interview leads me to believe he thought otherwise. I guess his 19 yrs showed a little...........but I'm still a little disappointed.

Yeah Jamie won that one fair and square. Kyle will just have to suck it up.

I didn't get a chance to watch it had to work. But I hear it was pretty good.

You want me to resize that avatar for you Gollum?

I watched the race and enjoyed it. With that outside groove working, I'm hoping we can see some great racing tomorrow. :)

Yes, I too was disappointed with Kyle's attitude. Seemed to me he was pouting a wee bit cause he lost the race. That's the second time he has done that. Someone needs to have a chat with that young man!!!!! :beerbang: :director: :owquitit:

Yes, last week I gave him a break because of the tragedy the week before, but I see no excuse for this week.

We must remember how old the youngster is and I've also heard that he, like his brother and father are a bit on the cantankerous side. Let's just say moody.

I also would have liked to see Kyle win. I am also a truex fan and am glad he had a good day. But for Kyle too run off like that is not right. If he is gonna make that kinda money he needs to step up to the plate when needed. and today it was needed for second in points ( and second in the race )to step up and do an interview even if it was short and to the point.
:beerbang:
