Of the drivers who qualified WC cars today, or tried as the case may be, only Kenny Wallace had any success qualifying at IRP. Lack of practice time maybe?

If the trucks were any indication, track position will be everything tonight. Passing is very tough and the inside groove doesn't work well at all. Sticking the nose under to bull through won't cut it.
