Richard Childress is again considering expanding to a full four-car operation next season, possibly with Greg Biffle, if he can sign him, according to Detroit sources. Bass Pro Shops is willing to provide sponsorship, at about $20 million a year, according to sources.(

That would be kool with me. I just can't see him team mates to JS though. LOL

This would be awesome Biffle is the only Roush driver i like. I think he'd fit in well with the RCR crew.

Imagine that... .Biffle and Harvick on the same team.. Who would have thought?

It would work ok. Harvick and Gordon have had run ins before but they work pretty good together.

I don't really believe Harvick and Biffle are as big of enemies now as everybody hopes to think.

I'd like to see it myself! They are pretty good buds now, and I think they would work great together.

Talkin' about a Bad Boyz team... Harvick, Biffle, Gordon and Sauter! I like it!

as much as my hatred for Biffle is ever so enhanced.... eh, just so hard for me to put this all in words, words that would be acceptable for all users of all ages.

My plan for RCR:

* Replace Johnny Sauter with Kerry Earnhardt or Clint Bowyer

* Bribe Martin Truex Jr. to go to the #31

* Leave Biffle without a ride

* Party like hell

Win-Win situation folks.

WOW, Happy you must be pretty high up in the ranks at RCR to have plans for the team>>>>>>

Greg Biffle's future with car owner Jack Roush has been up for debate the last year or so, and the run-in with Busch didn't make things any smoother. This is the last year of Biffle's contract with Roush and car owner Richard Childress has had his eyes on him, according to sources. Biffle, though, preferred not to talk about 2005: "At this time I can't really talk about it. I'd rather not discuss what we've got going right now. All that contractural stuff and what's going on, we're working on it. As soon as we get all of our differences ironed out, I'm sure we'll be more than happy to talk about it." According to insiders, the relationship between Biffle and Busch has not been good for quite a while. Biffle last Saturday did not seem pleased that Roush gave Busch a much stronger engine, one of Ford's new D models. Yesterday Biffle shrugged off the engine situation: "It doesn't matter to me. I was just making a wisecrack when I didn't get one for the Winston. It really doesn't affect me how they distribute the engines."(Winston Salem Journal)
AND Greg Biffle didn't offer too much to dispel recent rumors that he may be looking to leave Roush Racing at some point after the 2004 season. After winning the pole Friday for Saturday's Carquest 300 at Lowe's Motor Speedway, Biffle fielded some questions regarding garage area speculation he may end up with another team. Asked what he could say about his future with Roush Racing, Biffle replied: "At this time I can't really talk about it. I wish I could, but right now I'd rather not discuss what we've got going right now." Biffle did make clear there was no chance he would leave the Roush organization before the end of the season. "No, there's not a possibility for that at all," he said.(ThatsRacin.com)(5-29-2004)

Here's my take on this.........though it's still very early in the "silly season". I'm pretty sure Gregg is unhappy with Roush Racing. And, as far as I'm concerned, for good reasons too. Now before I get to deep in this let me say these are strictly my opinions......and I must add that I'm in no way a Jack Roush fan. I don't know why but it seems all Roush drivers appear to be very loyal to Jack and the organization........key word here is "appear". Roush has been a "heavy" in the Cup series for quite a few years, but until last season has never won a Championship. I think the reason is down deep inside the drivers (and teams) in the organization really sort of recent Jack. The reason, I think, is that Jack is more interested in Jack than he is about his teams. He seems to home in on the strongest driver at the beginning of each season and then he directs all his resources to that driver and team...........all in an effort to win a Championship. But that winning the Championship is in Jack's interest, not the driver and team. Guess, what I'm saying is Jack Roush is somewhat of a back stabber to his teams...........whoever is on top will get all the help. If you are struggling (which is common in this sport), he will just leave you floundering while he directs his efforts to the one he thinks has the best chance of getting a title. He must require some really stiff contractual agreements from his employees because I've never heard anyone cross him.........yet, I've heard quite a few grumble about getting the help they need. Gregg's back peddling about not getting one of the top engines last week and glossing over his and Kurt's little tiff, only serve to reinforce that belief of mine. I think Gregg will leave if he gets an offer. I think Jeff Burton would leave if he had an offer and I think Mark Martin would leave if he could..........but I think Mark's about ready to retire so he'll stick it out. Kurt, seeing how his younger brother is being treated, just may have second thoughts about sticking around too. About the only one I think is happy right now is Matt.........but heaven help him if he slips a little. I happen to like each and every one of the drivers for Roush Racing but I find it hard to cheer for any of them because of my thoughts and feelings for Jack Roush.

If Gregg would move to another organization such as RCR I think a Championship would not be far behind. Same for Kurt Busch. If Mark Martin had not wasted all those years with Roush, I think he would have, at least, one and probably more under his belt. Jeff Burton I don't know but I'm pretty sure he would be a much more respected driver in the Cup series. And as soon as Matt has a "bad" season (which will, sooner or later, happen) he'll be dropped like Mark was. So, if all these rumors are true.........I'm happy!! :D

If I stepped on toes with this post, just remember these are my opinions and remember I don't particularly care for Jack Roush.

Biffle would have better gear if he'd keep off the damn wall.

Believe me, after the stuff he said he'd have no choice but to look for another team if I was his boss.

Didja ever think that he might have had good and ample reason for his words???
Don't short change Biffle. I have never been a Biffle fan, but I
sees a good driver there. And, like poor Jeff Burton, they both oughtta get
the heck as far away from Rousch as is possible!!!!! And like DE W2, JMHO!!!

To be an "All bad ass" team, you would have to trade Sauter for Stewart I think

Yea, uh huh good plan there buddy..........

As far as the rumors and what's happening in the garage area, guys that are talking about changing around. You have the normal stuff. Who's going to go over to Richard Childress Racing? It had been Jeff Burton, now the latest is Greg Biffle. Don't know there, but most of the focus in the garage area has been, over the last number weeks, about the settlement between Speedway Motorsports and NASCAR. It's well-documented that Rockingham loses its last race, and Darlington loses one of its two races in deference to Texas and Phoenix. The all-star race is going to stay in Charlotte for one more year. So that news kind of had things on hiatus in the garage area, but I would expect through the summer that you'll start to see that churning and who might move in terms of crew chiefs and drivers over the next few months.(FoxSports - NASCAR This Morning

As much equipment as Kerry destroys RCR would be out of business in 4 months!

I can see Biffle in the 30 car though.
