Gotta love it when these drivers act tough with all these crew members and security in place. Not excusing this "fan", but watch the video and see how Denny acts like he wants to walk over to where the guy is standing, with all the people around him.

My only take on that video is that NASCAR needs to do something about their security if random fans are wondering onto pit lane after the race to confront drivers. As for the rest of the video, I don't see it the same way I guess.

The take home for me is how did Grizzly Adams gain access to where he was? I don't care how big an idiot Hamlin is he should not be subject to being confronted by any fans.

I still cant beleive bam margera's uncle called denny a dirty dog. Omfg

To be fair, I wouldn't want to mess with that guy either. Looks like Earthquake, wrestler from the 90s.

This undead Oakridge dude scares me more than Denny's admirer.

Those hot/cold passes will get you pretty much anywhere. A couple years ago after the 600 I was able to walk pit lane post-race and even thru the infield and onto the track. This was an hour after the race was over too.

Is it okay that I had to Google this guy?

But that I didn't have to look up this one?

I still dont understand why Denny was aimlessly wandering Pit Road, why didnt he get the hell out of there after his maneuver? I feel like it escalates the odds of running into a drunk fan where trouble like that could happen or running into the 24 crew..... My @ss would have been on my private plane outta there.

I don't know what time the incident happened, but I recall the top finishers are required to stick around for press conference. I don't know how many (top 3, top 5, etc.). It also may be a requirement for Chase drivers to be available to the press.

I am shocked there hasn't been tons of incidents like this before. The best time to see drivers is actually as soon as the race ends. there is essentially no security at that point, other than maybe the crew members. You probably can go where you want without a pass if you really pay attention and know how to. I am not talking about sneaking anywhere either.

I think @hidesert cowboy was just added to NASCAR's No Hot Pass List. ;)

Wouldn't need security if some drivers didn't drive like jackasses. THEY need security. Hambone might think twice before dumping another driver..ah probably not, he hasn't got the speeding thing down yet in thousands of races.

Way too many fans in the infield as it is. I'm all for more access for fans, but there's got to be a limit. When I was there in the spring, the infield was packed.

Fools like Rubeus Hagrid here ruin stuff for everyone.

Yeah he's went to the School of Harvick on how to appear to be a tough guy. Having your entourage around to 'hold you back" is lesson #1 for appearances.....

Denny established that he was an Ahole Deluxe with the way he tried to own Lagano during early runs with Penske.
The " hush child" was pompous natural ahole at his best.

When Bobby Allison and Richard Petty were beating the breaks off of each other the fans would join in after the race lol. This guy is an exception more then the rule, most people on pit road are autograph hounds and not trying to cause trouble and relatively good people.

Denny is even a bigger ogre then Newman
But Denny has a neck

Does the bully Harv charge a lot for this service ?

Given his ego, I’d guess yes and a lot.
Hell ........ Denny can teach folks "hold me back" for nothing :lol2:
