Before we get started, my heartfelt thanks to buck for taking over last year. It was a rough one. *fingers crossed* hubby and I can
get through this year with no major problems.


2012 BIG DAWG CONTEST

First, make a post indicating that you are entering the contest. I will take a max of 15 players.
Please do not sign up if you don't intend to be around for the season.

You must sign up by midnight February 14

Second, pick 3 drivers based on 2011 points

1 from 1 -- 12
1 from 13 --24
1 from 25 --35

Third, at random intervals I will put up some bonus questions --- such as
how many yellow flags will there be or who will win the pole. I may give
a pole speed and ask if the actual qualifying speed will be higher or lower.

I will not put up results until the official standings are released --- usually on Monday.

Some don't have rides, some are in part-time. If things change, I'll post amendments.

Since Aric Almirola is taking the #43, if you wish to pick him, that's OK. He can be a pick in the 25 - 35 section.
He's guaranteed a spot for the 1st 5 races --- hopefully, he'll stay in the top 35.

Just found out Ragan will be in #34, Gilliland in #38.

FB, I just try to divide the drivers into A, B, C groups. If I didn't, everyone would pick 3 drivers from the top 10 or so. Puts a little randomness into play.

The C group is a little weak this coming season. But, you never know.

I forget that you haven't been here for my past contests. Sorry about not being totally clear in the rules.

Your picks are for the whole season --- except in the rare case that a driver is replaced for various reasons.

You may pick the same 3 as someone else.
