Big Tex destroyed by fire

I watched a video that showed the whole thing from start to finish. Can't understand why there wasn't fire equipment handy. But then, I guess no one expected Big Tex to catch on fire. Took a whole 5 minutes to burn.
Oy. and now this. Bad day at the fair....
