Former Formula One racer and Red Bull Racing Team development driver Scott Speed will drive a fourth Bill Davis Racing Toyota in select NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races this season.

Red Bull, Speed's sponsor, wants to give the American more track time in an effort to advance his stock-car career.

Speed, who returned to the United States and entered stock-car racing after he lost his Scuderia Toro Rosso F1 ride toward the end of last year, will make his Bill Davis Racing debut at Kansas Speedway on April 26

Thats great. I hope he does well. Toro Rosso treated him like absolute dog poop. Many people in F1 think it was just because he is an American. The reality is they expected way too much from him right off the bat. He could a really good driver in NASCAR, in my opinion, as long as he is given time.

Since BDR is having money issues and can ill afford the associated costs of a rookie (wrecked cars) Speed must be bringing a suit case full of cash with him .

Speed must not have any other offers to sign with BDR so soon.
