Bill's staying!

I'm not sure that's what he meant, but whatever, I'm still his fan. I know that Ray has been trying to get Kasey Kahne in the #9 car, but with Kasey winning yesterday, it might be very hard to do now. I still believe that Bill won't be racing the entire season next year, but for now, he's on the stage and it's about time.

I got the impression he is getting out by his statement " i'm ready to go". I think he wanted to go out with a win,but in my mind he went out on top if indeed that is his last race.

Never looked at it like that . He could have ment that in his statment. Looks like we are in a waite and see mode.

It sounded to me like he was talking about going home, cause did'nt marty flat out ask him are you coming back next year? bill would'nt give a strait answer, just "Im ready to go"

The way I saw it was "Im ready to go" as in "Im ready to retire and move on." Obviously Marty Snyder jumped the gun in his assessments either way.

And I took it to mean he was ready to race next year right now.

Well, whatever he meant, he's probably glad that it's still unknown. He'll announce his future when he can but until then, he'll just play with the media.
