Perez Hilton Claims Black Eyed Peas Made Him Bleed



Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton has taken punches from online critics for years. Now, apparently, he's feeling the pain in real life, too.

The self-proclaimed"Queen of All Media" claims he was accosted by Black Eyed Peas front man will.i.am and assaulted by the band's manager after Sunday's MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto.

According to The Associated Press, Polo Molina, the manager for the Black Eyed Peas, turned himself into Toronto police Monday and was charged with assault. ABCNews.com's calls to Toronto police for comment was not immediately returned Monday.

Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, detailed the incident with a series of tweets posted on his official Twitter page early this morning:

--" I'm in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please."


-- "I was assaulted by will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke."

--" Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel."

--" I spoke to my lawyer. I really need to talk to the authorities. Please come to the SoHo Met Hotel. Have called the police. Need them here."

-- "The Toronto police are here now. Thank you. Please stop calling them."

will.i.am responded to Hilton's allegations via a video posted on Dipdive.com Monday. In it, the hip-hop impresario says Hilton "disrespected" Fergie, a fellow Black Eyed Peas member and frequent PerezHilton.com target, at a MuchMusic awards show after party, then will.i.am says Perez called him a "******" when he asked Hilton to not be "blatantly rude" to the group on his gossip blog. will.i.am says fans who overheard the exchange "got all crazy" on Hilton following the exchange.

Hilton fired back with his own nearly 12-minute long video, posted on his Web site Monday. Lying in bed, Hilton claims will.i.am accosted him multiple times over the course of the night, ranting about how Hilton should respect him and the Black Eyed Peas. Then he says the band's manager punched him in the eye three times. The visibly heated Hilton adds he was bleeding when he touched his eye after the incident.

ABCNews.com's calls and e-mails to representatives for Hilton and will.i.am were not immediately returned Monday.
 
Personaly does it really even matter? Look at whats considered popular music now days.

Miley Cyrus?
Lady Gaga?
Tesha?
Jonas Brothers?

The music industry has changed. It used to be about music, singing and freedom of expression. Now what do we have? Pretty faces with very little vocal ability and synthesized instrauments and beats.

Yeah all 5 of those names are bad(imo) but everyone can like whoever they want. It's not just music, acting is also filled with pretty faces who have zero talent but they look good on a cover and that's all the industry cares about.

There is no music industry anymore, it's all run by accountants and lawyers not musicians. Record companies create these "stars" at will and shove their faces all over every product they can. It's like movies, there is no creativity anymore it's all remakes and special effects. With technology as advanced as it is now you can make anyone sound like a pro in a studio. We hear it everyday, 90% of these so called "artists" sound like garbage as soon as you turn off the pitch correctors and vocoders. The black eyed peas at the half time show was a perfect example of what happens when these guys try to do their thing live, THEY SUCK and can't do it.

Usually the reason some of these acts finally go away is when they realize that the record companies are screwing them. First thing they do is hire their own lawyer demanding money they haven't seen and they find out that they don't really own squat because they didn't read the crap contract that was given to them. Once you bite the hand that feeds you, your done. The record company then puts no more effort into the next album(s) as far as studio production quality and marketing until the contract is up. Then just lets them fade away because they already have another pretty face that is excited to be on the roster they are willing to whore out and the whole thing starts all over again.
