Blaney in the 99

That was the talk of the Truck Race during the caution for the 3-truck crash that black flagged the race. (It was pretty nasty, too! But, more on that later.) About 6 minutes into the red flag they were saying that Carl needed to be on his way to the airport for his 3 hour flight to Charlotte. Of course, he didn't make it on time!
 
Maj, you going to give us a truck race report with pictures? Please.......... :D
 
Will try to put the pictures together tomorrow. I'm a little pooped right now. Quals on friday, truck race on sat, and the IRL race today. I'll see if I can't get something together tomorrow~

That IRL race was great to watch on the tube, and I bet it was even better in person! Really scarey wreck too!
 
Yes, it was a rather hairy wreck! Dario was already driving with a broken bone in his foot (from his crash during practice) but he was okay after the wreck. Barron was taken out of his car on a backboard (precautionary!) and he might have broken his hand, and fairly certain he had a concussion, but otherwise, no serious injuries for either driver.

We were rather startled in the truck race when Reutiman's truck struck the outside wall and then hit the pit wall (Dennis Setzer's pit). They actually had to cut him out of the truck! He was taken to a Fort Worth hospital, again precautionary, along with one of the other drivers. All are okay, no serious injuries. Pretty shook up I am sure!

That CTS wreck included Lester.

Wasn't that the final IRL race this season?

Thank the Powers Above that they are all reasonably OK!
